Beach Placid Resort and Restaurant has the best and longest stretch of beach on Alice Beach on Bantayan Island.

This resort has been opened just in early 2009 to the public.

Many travelers or tourist of Placid gave excellent rates for this establishment including all its facilities and services. In fact, the world’s biggest travel site – tripadvisor – has awarded Placid 
“Certificate of Excellence” in 2011 and 2012.

In August 2014, Bantayan Island suffered the wrath of Yolanda typhoon. However, although plants were badly hurt, the beach and the sea will never change their natural beauty.

Just like the resilient beach and sea recover so easily, the locals themselves are also able to pick themselves up again and rebuilt their abodes and sources of livelihood!

Restaurant

Placid has an open air restaurant with a bar that features Free Videoke provided you purchase some drinks while enjoying singing. If you are shy, then you can just listen while sipping your favorite drink somewhere at the corner.

See the sea-foods being served to its visitors. Placid offers all sorts of fresh and kicking sea foods they can find from the waters of this island.

Free Transfers

Placid resort offers free pick up and drop off at Santa Fe Pier. If you so prefer, you can walk from the pier to their establishment… it’s not far. So, let them know if you decide for a pick service in advance to save your troubles.

WiFi internet access is available for free for its guests with laptops and other wireless technologies. Just make sure you don't really do heavy work or bringing your office on this island!

If you wish to celebrate any event special, just to let you know that Placid also accepts Special Event requests: weddings, reunions, birthday celebrations, etc.

You won't be the first persons who would celebrate any special event or activity in this beach resort since there were already thousands who did so. They do not only come once but regularly or like pilgrims who visit this facility (or the island, at least).

Short Tip: If you don't want to take Beach Placid Resort's pick up service in Cebu (or anywhere possible) you can either take a bus or taxi that will bring you closer to Bantayan Island.

Take a bus from Cebu South Bus Terminal in Cebu City that will bring you to Hagnaya Pier where you can take a ferry or small boats. To Hagnaya Pier from Cebu taking a taxi could be faster but more costly. A V-Hire could be your another choice to get to this pier.
