Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is a new addition to the attractions and sightseeing offers of Cebu Province.

It is a premier Safari park located in Northern Cebu Province, the Philippines. This park serves as a sanctuary for various species of plants and animals.

Location and Description

Cebu Safari and Adventure Park lies on top of the beautiful and scenic hills of Carmen City. It is about an hour’s drive from Cebu City should you want to experience the nature’s world and quickly escape from the daily grinds of your life.

Adventure Zipline

The park features the African Savanna, Michelle’s Garden, Gardens of the World, and the White Lion Safari. If you are an adventure seeker and adrenaline-driven person, you can try its long and high zipline, which is about 1.3 kilometres long and almost 700 meters high above sea level.

Attractions

Cebu Safari & Adventure Park Orchid

The attractions that Cebu Safari and Adventure Park includes exciting sights, events, and activities including the flora and fauna areas, adventure park, extended African Savanna, bird show, white lion Safari, petting zoo, and animal feeding.

Flora

‘Flora’, if you remember your science class, means plants and which I really enjoyed observing to grow when I was little. At this Flora area of the park, you will find and enjoy the beauty of plants, flowering plants, and trees of varied species and sizes.

Of course, you can observe beautiful flowers that can be enjoyed all year round only in tropical countries such as the Philippines.

Paved pathways lead you to gardens and terraces of such amazing and beautiful plants (including fruit trees such as mangoes and coconut trees).

Michel’s Garden and Gardens of the World gardens give you samples of colorful and beautiful varieties of orchids. Relaxing and romantic spaces offer you some quick recharge from any negativities of your normal life.

Fauna

‘Fauna’ relates to the animal world. Adults might not be so interested and excited anymore in watching animals. However, your students or children would be so super excited when they see animals they do not encounter in their daily lives.

At Cebu Safari and Adventure Park, you will see birds (such as parrots), wild animals (such as lions), reptiles (e.g. crocodiles), and more. Please, be reminded to always follow safety measures when entering in such areas, especially the ‘NOs’ and ‘DON’Ts’ in the park.

Adventure

ATV (All-Terrain-Vehicle)

Cebu Safari & Adventure Park can make you feel truly excited and thrilled by their exhilarating rides, including the ATV (all terrain vehicle) ride, zip line, Sky Bike, Giant Swing, and cave exploration activities.

For the ATV, you can ride and cross over exciting terrains. Of course, for your safety, there are four different trails for your riding capacity. For example, a beginner trail course takes 15 minutes, intermediate takes 30 minutes, and for the advance trail could take 30-45 minutes. How exciting!

You may start from 8 am to 5 pm.

Zip Line

A Zipline is not for a faint-hearted but could be good for anyone who has fears of heights (or acrophobia), or any type of fear you wish to face in life. They say that most of our fears are psychological and that most of fears in life would not happen should we face them. So, c’mon let’s go!

This zipline is long (1.3 km long). It is considered one of the longest in the Philippines so far. It is also high considering it is at 671 meters above sea level. Operation hours is from 8 am to 5 pm only. So, buckle up and safety belt, please!

Sky Bike

Yes, nowadays, you cannot only cycle on land (or water) but also in the sky! Cebu Safari’s Sky Bike is about 150 meters above the ground. I guess this is better than the zip line, isn’t it? Again, the operation time is from 8 am to 5 pm only.

Giant Swing

Oh yes, if you have tried the roller coaster, then you would have no problem with this, I guess. Again, you should have a good heart if you want to try this swing - it is unlike your elementary school swings!

It is about 110 feet above the ground. You will be able to see the horizon back and forth, and scream your heart out to release any fears and other negative energies away! Operation hours is from 8 am to 5 pm only.

Cave Exploration

There are many caves in Cebu Province (still many to be discovered) that offers exciting features. At Cebu Safari & Adventure Park, you will have the opportunity to explore a beautiful and exciting cave in Cebu. Aside from adoring the various shapes of stalactites and stalagmites, you will experience a real and natural pool with very cool water in it inside the cave.

The management requires only healthy guests (kids must be from 7 years old). The first guided tour starts at 11:30 am and the second is 2:30 pm.

Food & Nature Experience

Pizzas

You can enjoy meals and snacks inside the park at various places. The park offers such services in the Base Camp, The Outpost, Pizzeria Michelangelo Ristorante Italiano, Michel’s Pavilion, and Tiger Turf places.

At Base Camp, you can dine in during weekends from 11 am to 3 pm

At The Outpost, you can enjoy their Western style food and other popular food and dishes such as beef pot roast, fried chicken, hotdogs, burgers, nachos, and gourmet fries. At the Outpost, you will enjoy your food while observing giraffes, meerkats, and birds.

At Pizzeria Micheangelo’s, you know that you will enjoy your favourite pizza, pasta, or other Italian dishes. While having you pizza, you can also watch lemurs, gibbons, and orangutans nearby.

A traditional Philippine adobo

At Michel’s Pavilion, you can have light snacks such as pretzels and coffee. However, you can enjoy its Filipino buffet lunch during weekends and holidays. Nearby you will enjoy your food while exploring with your eyes orchids and Mayana plants.

At Tiger Turf, you can enjoy your gelato while viewing tigers and blackbucks. During weekends, you can enjoy their Filipino buffet lunch. They’re open from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Safari Black Bucks

Breeding & Research Center

Aside from making visitors happy and explore nature, Cebu Safari and Adventure has a mission to breed animals and conserve especially those endangered ones.

The Breeding and Research Center shares its success stories in breeding and caring for these animals under their care.

For example, BRC has successfully bred Sun Conure, Greater Rhea, Eclectus Parrot, Scarlet Macaw, Black Palm Cockatoos, White Peachick, and an ostrich.

Accommodations

Cebu Safari & Adventure Park also offers various choices of accommodation located at the heart of a serene and breath-taking site of a forested area in Cebu facing the view of Camotes Sea.

Pick your choice for your accommodation: Safari Camp, Safari Cabins, and Glamping Tents.

Three-Bedroom Cabin

This is a luxurious 108 square-meter cabin with three bedroom cabin: king bed, double bed, twin bed or double deck bed. It can accommodate up to 9 guests (adults and children).

Two-Bedroom Cabin

Each of the two cabin offers 80 square meters of space. Each cabin has a king bed, double bed, twin bed, or single double deck bed. This Cabin can accommodate up to six guests (children and adult)

One-Bedroom Cabin

This offers one queen bedroom and for a maximum of 2 guests only.

Glamping Tents

It simply means ‘glamorous camping’ tents. For this offer, there are two bedroom luxury tent suite that has a king bed, three double beds (air-conditioned). It can accommodate 6 guests.

At this tent, you can enjoy the ensuite bathroom with hot and cold shower, African Safari-themed interiors, dining room, living room, veranda and sundeck, and a private heated pool.
