Cebu South
Bus Terminal is one of the most modern public facilities in the
province. Many commended that the terminal seems like an airport with
more organized facilities to properly and smoothly accommodate many
passengers.
This bus terminal serves passengers who are bound for
the Southern part of Cebu Province (including Dumaguete City and Negros
Oriental). For those who are not familiar about the province, Negros
Oriental belongs to another province but some buses take that route,
fyi.
Okay, let’s check out the features that make this terminal more organized and modern.
The facilities in accommodating passengers make it smoother and more convenient for passengers to accomplish their travel needs. In particular, the terminal has a centralized ticketing counter where you can buy your ticket for any destination.
Without much chattering here are the other facilities for the passengers’ convenience…
Well, finally, this is a sign that the province is really trying its best to deliver much better service to the public by establishing facilities that are being used in most developed countries.
Of course, Cebu Province is considered as one of the topmost progressive provinces in the nation. It is just right to establish such modern facilities to help facilitate and efficiently manage daily activities that actually affect or contribute to progress in various aspects not only for Cebu but the whole of the country.
BUS ROUTES
Cebu Province is somehow having an equally distributed percentage of population in various areas. It simply means that except the major cities, most towns and places outside the major cities have an evenly distributed number of inhabitants.
One of the reasons for such equal distribution is that, although an island, Cebu has almost similar geographical and topographical features. For example, most of Cebu Province has flat lands and some not-so-high mountain ranges. Most locals do farming or backyard gardening as source of livelihood.
Second, being an island, Cebu has nice beaches surrounding it. This feature makes locals to live everywhere nearby the shores or beach areas since time immemorial.
So, what I am saying is that if you go to the southern part of the province, the buses that ply that route go in two different routes: East coast and West coast.
Most passengers live in those areas where most towns and populated areas are located. The advantage of travelling in any of these two routes is that you can always see beaches or the sea along the way.
So, here are the two main routes of the buses from Cebu South Bus Terminal:
The East Coast Destinations from this terminal will bring you to the following places (cities and municipalities) where your final travel destination is located...
Talisay City, Minglanilla Municipality, Naga City, San Fernando, Carcar City, Sibonga Municipality, Argao Municipality (66 km), Dalaguete Municipality (85 km), Alcoy Municipality (95 km), Boljoon Municipality (103 km), Oslob Municipality (117 km), and Santander Municipality (134 km).
In those linked places, you can find more details including features and descriptions that can help your search, such as population, livelihood, and names of barangays, among others.
In the West Coast Destinations, you can also find the famous municipalities with various resources for travels. Check them out...
Toledo City, Pinamungahan Municipality, Aloguinsan Municipality,
Barili, Dumanjug, Ronda, Alcantara, Moalboal, Badian, Alegria,
Malabuyoc, Ginatilan, Samboan, Santander
These are the municipalities and some cities that the buses from Cebu South Bus terminal are
serving. Which destination is much better? I’d say they are equally
beautiful and worth visiting.
Find out more details of the municipalities and cities above if you click the linked pages. The details include some features of the area such as the size, number of population, attractions, and other basic information which can help your search.
As I mentioned already, most of the towns are located near the sea. For
those who are not so familiar with the province, let me give you some
hints of the most popular places. However, you can also visit many
secluded beaches aside from the ones I am about to mention.
So,
in the East Coast, the most popular beaches and resorts include all of
those mentioned. But, just to make a bit of differences, many locals and
foreign travelers prefer Argao Beach Resorts and Alcoy Beach Resorts. Just recently, due to whale sharks tourism, Oslob Municipality and Boljoon Municipality is becoming the most visited places in the south.
In the West Coast, the most prominent and popular destination among beach lovers, divers and vacationers include Moalboal Beach Resorts.
The rest of towns have almost equal popularity in terms of beach
resorts and other tourist attractions. Of course, each of them is unique
and has special qualities and features.
Anyhow, just go wherever you wish to visit by availing the great facilities of Cebu South Bus Terminal.
