MALAPASCUA EXOTIC ISLAND DIVE RESORT

Malapascua Exotic is located on Malapascua Island, Cebu, Philippines.

It is the pioneer dive resort on the island and has grown over the years into this great resort. Dik and Cora established Exotic in 1997 after exploring possibilities for diving.

Based on the site’s history account, Dik seems to have opened the doors for diving activities for others who have recently followed suit on their pioneering activities.

FUN WATER ACTIVITIES & ADVENTURES

Monad Shoal
It is the shoal where Dik and his friends made their first dive and discover thresher sharks’ home. Threshers are living in about 25 meters deep from the sea level. Monad Shoal is now one of the popular dive spots in the area.

House Reef
The House Reef is the couple’s first project in 2001. They sunk jeeps, concrete thresher sharks, (human)manmade objects, among other materials which created an artificial home to fishes, corals, and other critters. This is now being used as a diving site by visitors.

More fun activities
The most common activities include: swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, kayaking, fishing, jet skiing, boating, etc. However, you might have to request the management to arrange your preferred activity since not all can be provided by one resort alone.

Due to its great facilities and services, Exotic Island Dive Resort has turned into a world renowned 5-Star IDC Resort and a National Geographic Dive Centre.

BAR
Sea view bar and restaurant. It serves a wide variety of Alcoholic drinks, Draft Beer, cocktails, etc.
Happy Hour: 5 to 7pm buy 1 get 1 for free from select cocktails drinks

COFFEE CORNER
This corner offers cappuccino, latter, iced coffee and other similar drinks while relaxing with sea view and breathing fresh sea breeze.

BAKERY
They have a bakery that bakes delicious European breads and other pastries. They also accept orders and arrange cakes for various occasions that will be prepared by well-trained and experienced chefs

DIVING & DIVE COURSES
Have diving facilities, courses (Divemaster Course, Instructor Development, EFR Instructor Course, MSDT Prep)

From airport/hotel in Cebu to resort or other destination. Exotic provides comfortable cars and vans ready for service.

Conference Room
New multimedia Conference Room and Instructor Development Classroom with a view of Bounty Beach; accommodates 20 to 30 persons and has access to modern technology – internet, flat screen TV, DVD, etc.
