Journeying Alone With Friends
Inside the Taoist Temple
At the entrance of the Taoist Temple
Life is a journey, not a destination.
My life is a journey and only I can make the best out of it.
And my friends, family, and others are significant ingredients...
It’s the truth that someone like me should learn to accept and gladly embrace.
My friends and classmates are special part of this journey.
Their loveliness, laughter and smiles, sadness and pains, worries and uncertainties have become essential requirements to make my travel more extraordinary and even better.
In this journey, I can only be sure that I should be on this road no matter what.
My friends, classmates, acquaintances, and even my parents can only show me the doors I must walk through.
‘Coz no one else can walk my life instead of me.
And I should tread that path of opportunities and blissfulness of life, every day.
It was my first time to travel that distance without my parents beside. An experience telling that I should make my own decisions as I stride.
In that holy place (Taoist Temple) I had the chance to see its beauty and mystery inside.
Above all, I had time to contemplate and make my prayers and wishes be heard; accompanied and strengthened by the wishes of my dear friends on this great day.
Each of us made our wishes for a much better life ahead, paired with our energy and determination to succeed in our endeavors.
Yes, life is a journey and should be lived fully.
Its process could be more valuable than its destination.
And, Cebu was the turning point showing me the way of growing up and learning how to journey with friends.
It is interesting to see and be surprised about what tomorrow shall bring...
