When approaching this beautiful cove, you’ll be captivated by the turquoise waters filled with vibrant aquatic life forms.

The elongated dock that welcomes and ushers you to the resort are just but one of the sites where you can snorkel to see various species of fish, including damsel fish, sergeant majors, fusiliers, and more rainbow-colored tropical fish you can swim with.

Enhancing the unique formation of limestone cliffs at the background of Miniloc resort are the green trees, coconut trees, flowering plants, bamboos, and other tropical plants.

Cool Miniloc Island Cottages

For comfort and environmentally sustainable reasons, the cottages of the resort are basically being supplied from the locality and furnished with indigenous materials.

With traditional native and rustic design-cottages, the resort offers 50 accommodations for its special guests.

Each cottage is a thatched-roofed cool-looking structure with wooden floors and walls made from woven bamboo splits. Each cottage has private porch (veranda) for the guests to have a panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding islands.

Comfortable Cottage & Exotic Room

Accordingly, to satisfy your special needs in terms of accommodation, Miniloc resort offers multiple accommodation types, as follows…

Water Cottages. Seven of these cottages are available. They are built on stilts just right at the foot of the island’s limestone walls. Each cottage was built to accommodate comfortably two persons.

Sea-view Rooms. Five of these are built on silts and can accommodate four persons. This type is a two-level structure with a total of 43 square meters floor size each room.

Garden Cottages. There are 13 of this type and literally surrounded with beautiful tropical plants and just a stone’s throw from the beach. This type can accommodate 3 persons comfortably.

Cliff Cottages. No, they are not built on the cliff itself! (could be more exciting, though). They are just built along the side of the limestone’s cliff to give you a panorama of the resort itself and Bacuit Bay. Since this cottage type is by the cliff, the resort management does not accommodate persons or families with small children.

Beachside Rooms. Yes, they are literally built to accommodate guests who desire to stay right in-front of the beach. This type can fit three persons comfortably. This is great if you wanna swim a bit in the water at night.

Deluxe Sea-view Rooms. These rooms were built by Miniloc Island Resort’s management to show support for environmental endeavors. The ten rooms are entirely and efficiently solar-powered. The air-condition, lights, and fans are powered by solar energy as well. You have a great view of Bacuit Bay from a Sea-view room that accommodates two persons only.

Activity or Inactivity

When you are on vacation or short break, you are supposed to break your habit of working with routines. While on this resort, you can relax by watching movies, reading a favorite novel, trying to play board games. (Personally, I’d rather explore outside than watch movies inside!)

Also, you can take a look at the resort’s local handicrafts, take a quick swim and sit idly by the beach to watch the clouds, flying birds, passing paddle boats, or the setting sun...

For those who have interest in billiards, you can play alone or challenge anybody while sipping a glass of cocktail available at the beach-side bar.

From Miniloc Island Resort, there are more than 20 dive sites accessible. In fact, this resort is a PADI 5-star resort with complete diving equipment. Snorkel gears and kayaks are available for rent at the resort’s marine sports centre.
