Tepanee Resort is outstandingly built on top of a hill that is rising up from a beach of the famous Malapascua Island, Cebu, Philippines.

From where it stands, you can enjoy the majestic panoramic view of the sea, islands, blue waters, and its white beaches.

‘Tepanee’ is a Polynesian name for frangipane, a tropical tree that produces flowers of various colors. (I think we commonly call it ‘kalachuchi’ in Bisayan language.)

This cozy and serene establishment is being managed by Italian couple who love a tropical beach and who feel in love with Malapascua Island and everything (everyone) on it.

Of course, there are thousands of things you might enjoy with when on the island. However, we can sum them up into the following main interesting activities:

Scuba Diving
Yes, Malapascua is very popular in terms of scuba diving or snorkeling due to the fecundity of its marine life. You can observe macro life – colorful fishes, harlequin shrimps, frogfish, thresher sharks, manta rays, etc. Tepanee can surely provide you diving assistance.

Strolling and walking by the beach
This is one of the most relaxing things you can freely enjoy. You can walk around the island’s soft white sand for about 3 hours to circumnavigate it.

Swimming and snorkeling
You can certainly enjoy the inviting fresh and sparkling waters of Malapascua. You may swim anywhere along the beach because its water is shallow and safe for anybody.

The coral reefs surrounding the whole island is also great for snorkeling to find all sorts of fishes, shrimps, crabs, and other critters that live among the colorful corals.

Other fun activities
Boating, biking, motorbiking, kayaking, jetskiing, etc. For these, you might have to ask your service provider to arrange any of your preferred fun activity, and they’ll be glad to make it happen for you!

Because of its environmental conservation philosophy, it conserves energy by not providing hair dryers and towels (Please, bring one yourself ?).

Scuba Diving
Tepanee has a diving instructor (Silvia) who can directly assist about scuba diving and diving courses.
